The absence of a flange on the dowel allows the part to be fixed flush with the surface of the base. Sharp teeth in the expansion zone prevent the dowel from turning during installation. The dowel is used together with universal screws, plumbing bolts, screw studs, etc. It is not recommended to use it with black self-tapping screws. It is installed in a pre-drilled hole.
